About Bright Futures Neurodevelopment

Every Child’s Journey Is Unique

At Bright Futures Neurodevelopment, our mission is to help families recognize and build on their child’s strengths while navigating developmental and emotional challenges with confidence.

We focus on practical, research-informed strategies that make a real difference in a child’s growth and well-being throughout childhood.

Supporting Families Through Every Step

Parenting can be joyful, rewarding, and sometimes overwhelming. We’re here to provide guidance, tools, and resources that meet children where they are—whether it’s developing social skills, managing big emotions, or building confidence at home, school, or in the community.

Our approach is:

  • Compassionate and family-centered

  • Activity- and play-based suggestions

  • Focused on strengths, research-informed strategies, and practical next steps families can implement

Meet Dr. Kandice Benallie

I’m a clinical child psychologist specializing in neurodevelopmental assessment, including autism and ADHD testing. I currently practice at Wasatch Pediatric Neuropsychology in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I help families understand their child’s unique profile of strengths, challenges, and developmental differences.

In addition to assessment, I have experience providing child and family interventions, including behavioral parent coaching and emotion regulation strategies for children and adolescents. My work is grounded in the belief that supporting families with knowledge and practical tools leads to meaningful growth and positive change.

While testing often helps clarify diagnoses, my true passion lies in what comes next—translating results into actionable insights and real-world strategies that help children and families thrive.

As a full-time parent and part-time psychologist, I bring both professional expertise and personal perspective to my work. I’m also a parent of two young children, one of whom is neurodivergent, and this experience deeply shapes my approach and values.

I created Bright Futures Neurodevelopment to extend that work beyond the clinic—to offer families ongoing guidance, education, and community support as they navigate the journey of childhood and development.
